Hidden Perspectives

Bringing the Bible Out of the Closet

Launch Event

IMG_4823Hidden Perspectives kicked off with a bang on 11 April 2013 when academics, students, LaDIY-ers and supporters came together at the University of Sheffield to launch the project.

Speeches came from project lead Katie Edwards, community partners LaDIYfest Sheffield, Biblical Studies lecturer James Crossley, TUoS LGBT society representative Yael Shafritz, artist and comedian Chella Quint, student ambassadors Bex Leeman and Emily Foster-Brown! The talks were brought to a close with a preview of Carol Robson’s wonderful poetry.

There was a great vibe in the room as University staff mixed with society reps, students and community members over a glass of wine.
